Job Description
Qualifications:
- MBA Preferred
- Bachelors Degree (Technical Degree preferred)
- 7 Years of business development; from market/customer engagement Medical, Analytical, Aerospace, Energy and/or Industrials
- Must have demonstrated experience and track record:
- Driving product strategy
- Contract negotiations.
- Identify potential acquisition candidates that meet the acquisition profile.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and drive the strategic direction of seal product development to drive revenue through the category. This role is the main stakeholder of the R&D team and a core member of the sales leadership team.
- Shape and lead product line strategy, roadmap development and life cycle management.
- Identifies product category adjacencies and related OEM acquisition potential.
- Active customer engagement with sales leaders and related segment expert teams.
- Develop and Drive product market business development
- Drive share growth in target market applications.
- Primary oversite in the product development process via stage gate intra-company software program.
- Understand seal manufacturing process & grasp capabilities and limits with the manufacturing operations.
