Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Science engineering 
  • 6 plus years Experience with full life-cycle of UAVs: design, development, coding, debugging, testing, simulation, analysis, and maintenance of GN&C (Guidance Navigation & Controls) systems.
  • Experience leading small teams 
  • Aerodynamic stability and control modes, models, concepts, and coefficients
  • Design Build Fly (DFB a plus)
  • US Citizenship Required
Responsibilities: 
  • Architect and develop comprehensive, reusable simulation and analysis tools for model-based control and estimation designs
  • Document designs and analyses with written reports, presentations, and Engineering drawings
  • Characterize, analyze, test, and troubleshoot system hardware and software subsystems
  • Analyze systems and flight test data to support model improvements and root cause investigation of failures and anomalies
