Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Science engineering
- 6 plus years Experience with full life-cycle of UAVs: design, development, coding, debugging, testing, simulation, analysis, and maintenance of GN&C (Guidance Navigation & Controls) systems.
- Experience leading small teams
- Aerodynamic stability and control modes, models, concepts, and coefficients
- Design Build Fly (DFB a plus)
- US Citizenship Required
- Architect and develop comprehensive, reusable simulation and analysis tools for model-based control and estimation designs
- Document designs and analyses with written reports, presentations, and Engineering drawings
- Characterize, analyze, test, and troubleshoot system hardware and software subsystems
- Analyze systems and flight test data to support model improvements and root cause investigation of failures and anomalies
