Job Description
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical engineering
- Experience with industrial heating products
- Experience with Embedded programming. Ideally with Python and R.
- Experience working in a lab environment running test
- Experience with hardware design including PCB, Wiring harnesses, and power electronics. Hands on testing and prototyping
- Ability to write real time controls software to control heating cycles
- Experience writing component level control algorithms
- Knowledge of PID controllers
- Experience with automotive wire harnesses, connectors, basic electronics, and associated fabrication and troubleshooting (e.g., soldering, connector assembly, multimeter use) is desirable
- Strong understanding of DFMEA and 5D analysis
- Create hardware and software to interface with automotive thermal system components, including actuators, pumps, sensors, valves, blowers, fans, compressors, and heaters
- Develop test plans and validate algorithms in simulation and on physical test benches processing data and resolving issues
- Build prototypes and test in the lab. Troubleshoot components
- Design power electronics and power electronic PCBs
- Develop and implement component level control algorithms
