Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have degree in EHS, Public Safety, Public Heath, Industrial Safety, etc.
- 5+ years of professional EH&S experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- OSHA 30 Hour Training is preferred. Training can be provided by company.Â
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) strongly preferredÂ
- Experience creating risk assessments and writing job hazard analysis assessmentsÂ
- DOT Hazmat & Title 22 Hazardous Waste Training is an advantage
- Knowledge of GMP/GxP, Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)Â are an advantage
- Develop and implement safety programs and requirements to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation.
- Develop facility clean room safety procedures including, laser safety, working at heights, chemical safety, ergonomics, and PPE requirements
- Conduct safety inspections, develop corrective actions, and maintain inspection records
- Maintain chemical inventory and hazardous waste records.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis/Risk Assessments
- Coordinate the purchase, proper use, maintenance, inspection of PPE
- Coordinate employee training, process workers compensation benefits, mange incident cases, etc.Â
