Job Description

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years of IT deployment
  • OS, MS Windows, Apple Mac OS & iOS, Android VMware, Debian, Redhat Linux
  • Experience with IP and storage networks, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, routers, VPN
  • Experience with computer security, PKI infrastructure, digital certificates, encryption
  • Familiar with all aspects and best practices of IT operations, application and datacenter management (Chef, Puppet).
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Travel monthly to Palmdale CA, possible international deployment for up to 3 months (New Zealand).   Must have passport.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, install IT systems to support ground and flight data gathering and processing equipment
  • Analyze and provide solutions to information management challenges
  • Manage and maintain Data Pipeline Systems, Simulator, Data Cycle Systems – configuration, installation, performance tuning, backup and restore
  • Support integration and deployment of IT assets in various operational locations
  • Handle customer support tickets as needed
