In-Process Inspector
Job Description
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in PCB/PWB manufacturing, focused on in process inspection or quality control.
- Experience with bare boards, flex, and rigid flex circuits in high reliability electronics environments such as aerospace or defense.
- Knowledge of PCB/PWB processes, defect identification, IPC standards, and military specifications.
- Ability to use microscopes and inspection tools to identify defects in traces, holes, and board surfaces.
- Ability to read drawings, travelers, and work instructions to ensure compliance.
- Experience with MRP systems and production tracking for inspection documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform in process inspection of PCB/PWB panels to identify defects during production.
- Conduct visual inspections of traces, holes, thickness, and markings to ensure quality standards are met.
- Verify travelers, lot numbers, and panel quantities before advancing product.
- Use microscopes and inspection equipment to detect defects in flex and rigid flex boards.
- Document results in MRP systems and production records.
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards and aerospace quality requirements.
