Job Description
Qualifications:
- 3+ years customer service/account management experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace, defense, industrial, or electromechanical preferred
- Experience with motion control/electric motor products, and familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace manufacturing standards desireable
- Working knowledge of order processing and manufacturing workflows, including DFARS/FAR/ITAR/EAR compliance helpful
- Strong ERP proficiency (SyteLine, Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and MS Office skills required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities independently and cross-functionally
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary customer contact, managing orders end-to-end (quotes, PO processing, pricing, lead times, shipment tracking) while maintaining accurate ERP records
- Review purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, delivery, and contractual/compliance terms
- Coordinate cross-functionally (Sales, Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Shipping) to meet customer requirements and proactively communicate schedule changes
- Handle returns, warranty claims, and order discrepancies to timely resolution; manage customer documentation (certs, packing lists, invoices)
- Build strong customer relationships through responsive, solution-oriented service, and identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and processes
