Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 year experience
- Semiconductor capital equipment experience
- UGNX experience, Will consider candidates with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor as well
- Understanding of material properties and material science
- Understanding of Machining rules for aluminum, plastics and brittle materials (Ceramics, quartz, etc.)
- Vacuum environment design experience (O-ring, vacuum fittings, helium leak check)
- Finite Element analysis (Thermal and Structural)
- Understanding of heating and cooling systems
- Tolerance stack up analysis
- Reliability testing
- Design next generation semiconductor etch equipment
- Perform stress analysis to validate designs
- Work with outside vendors to have parts fabricated
- Perform in house testing on part
- Design vacuum chambers
