Junior Electrical Engineer - Hardware Lab Support

Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidate will have at least five years experience as a technician in a prototype build or R&D environment
  • Python
  • Automated Test Programming and script writing using Bash or Python 
  • Proficient in use of digital multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, wire crimper, etc.
  • Knowledge of power supplies, PCB components, signal analyzers
  • Skilled at SMT assembly and rework including high lead density components.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain overall system and hardware test set-up's
  • Help build new hardware prototypes
  • Responsible for mechanical assembly of devices as well as PCB re-works - soldering of discrete components, precision assembly 
  • Set up test configurations and maintain the test systems
  • Update configurations including drivers and software
  • Organize and maintain the lab stock, tools and equipment
