Job Description
Qualifications:
- Experience with 5-Axis programming and machining required
- 5+ years experience with CNC lathe, CNC mill, manual mill/lathe, and other machine shop equipment.
- Experience with Siemens NX or similar.
- Experience with Fanuc, Brother and Haas controls or similar.
- Strong skills in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with Dual Spindle, Y-Axis Lathes a plus.
- Ability to own the setup and machining processes from beginning to end.
- Willingness to work weekends and swing / night shift to support mission timelines.
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts precisely from drawings, blueprints, models, and verbal instructions.
- Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines and equipment to ensure accurate production.
- Deburr all parts to ensure high-quality hardware.
- Prioritize daily tasks, and maintain high operational uptime.
- Perform preventive maintenance on a weekly basis.
- Keep the workspace organized and stocked with necessary oils, greases, and other consumables.
- Uphold stringent quality control throughout manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic given tight deadlines and shifting goals.
