Job Description
Qualifications:
- Requires an electrical journeyman card, or Associate's degree from technical college in related field and six months to one year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Work experience or training which demonstrates advanced knowledge of single and 3-phase electrical systems, AC and DC circuits and their relationship with each other.
- Basic welding and machine shop skills necessary to repair or fabricate repairs.
- Troubleshoots and repairs control circuitry, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Works from schematic and ladder diagrams involved in NC and CNC equipment.
- Moves and installs machine shop/fabrication equipment. Install switches, controls and other electronic devices incidental to the installation.
- Proficiently uses electrical measuring equipment to diagnose machine failures.
- Diagnose and remedy troubles, repair and replace equipment and apparatus and communicates the current status of equipment to the Production Manager and appropriate Department Supervisor.
- Work is subject to final inspection and check by supervisor.
