Job Description

Qualifications:
  • BS in Mechanic, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes for medium to high volume hardware products
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification, familiarity with Lean, Kaizen principles
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and SAP/ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics, ability to interpret complex P&ID and thermal schematics.
  • Expertise in brazing, welding, or thermal insulation techniques
  • experience with Cooling Distribution Units (CDU) or large-scale liquid cooling systems.
  • Must be bilingual in Mandarin and English

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring production schedules meet customer demands and internal KPIs.
  • Lead and mentor production engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability.
  • Partner with R&D and Global Design teams to transition new thermal products from prototype to full-scale mass production.
  • Identify manufacturing inefficiencies and implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce cycle times, scrap rates, and energy consumption.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes specifically for thermal equipment, including insulation, commissioning, and pressure testing.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the shop floor regarding thermal conductivity, fluid mechanics, and insulation performance.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering to manage PFMEA, control plans, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any process deviations.
  • Specify, procure, and maintain production tools, fixtures, and machinery (e.g., nitrogen charging kits, brazing/welding equipment).
  • Work closely with Warehouse and Logistics supervisors to manage material selection, cost analysis, and vendor development.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership on production capacity, budgetary adherence, and technical milestones.
