Job Description
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in production/manufacturing (high-tech, automotive, battery, semiconductors, or electronics)
- Prior experience supervising technicians/operators in multi-shift environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety practices
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Proficiency in problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, root cause analysis)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies (strongly preferred)
- Ability to interpret process documentation and engineering specifications
- Hands-on production/assembly experience (preferred)
- Adaptable to fast-paced startup environment
Responsibilities:

Supervise team of up to 20 technicians across multiple shifts
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues
- Lead daily standups and shift handoffs
- Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate technicians
- Partner with HR to hire, train, and onboard new team members
- Track metrics (yield, downtime, throughput, labor efficiency)
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
