Director of Engineering
Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of R&D cross-functional leadership developing complex products like meters, manifolds, leak detectors, pumps, Calibration tools.
- Accomplished at scaling matrixed teams. (Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware)
- Lead new product development and managing supplier/ODM partnerships.
- Strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead innovative product development, process optimization, and accountability
- Define and execute the long-term engineering and technical strategies
- Build organizational capacity and technical depth to deliver sustainable pipelines of products.
- Manage budgets, resources, processes, metrics and strategic priorities across simultaneous programs.
- Strengthen relationships with ODMs and strategic suppliers to expand innovation capacity and accelerate time-to-market.
- Develop and oversee the R&D budget
