Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
- SolidWorks and PDM experience
- Experience with RF/Microwave product design
- Familiarity with Microwave Reflector Antenna design concepts
- Responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing passive RF Microwave components and antenna sub-systems.
- Overseeing product development to ensure optimal performance, conducting design analysis and optimization using computer-aided design tools, and creating/modifying designs, assembly instructions, source control drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
- Additionally, the position includes reviewing and approving designs and documentation for implementation, designing tooling and fixtures for production and testing, creating 3D parametric models and 2D drawings, and evaluating mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Application of principles from mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and material science.
- Implementing and maintaining fabrication methods/documentation, operation sequences, and processes, as well as designing test methods and conducting testing of finished products and systems.
