Job Description

Qualifications:
  • BS Engineering: (Mechanical, Plastics, Materials)
  • 7+ years designing plastic parts for consumer products/medical device
  • Strong Injection molding, surfacing/ sculpting is highly desirable 
  • Nice to have prototyping and material selection experience (ABS, polypropylene, PVC, Nylon)  
  • SolidWorks Must be able to create complex  3D models of parts and assemblies
  • Create 2D drawings with critical dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
  • Hands on Breadboarding and Prototyping is a strong plus
Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver final tool ready CAD drawing 
  • Manage up to 7 projects concurrently between sustaining & new product development
  • Effectively communicate with  ODM's to manage gating or injector locations and issues
  • Work with 3D printing lab to develop working prototypes
