Job Description
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Familiarity with metrology equipment
- SolidWorks, PDM, PLM, ASME Y14.X Documentation and drawing best practices, GD&T
- Fluent with bills of material structures and engineering change control documentation.
- Experience with similar technologies (Vehicles, battery packs, electric motors, motorcycles) preferred
- ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems experience preferred
- Proficient general computer skills and experience with Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain engineering control drawings of parts using technical communications best practices, considering mating components, part function
- Collaborate with Quality Department Inspectors on aligning drawing content with inspection practices
- Conduct sustaining engineering updates on legacy drawings
- Support design and development work with CAD modeling
- Generates and completes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Generates and completes revisions of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Accountable for holding due-dates, understands inter-dependencies between engineering development timelines and downstream stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
