Job Description
Qualifications:
- BSME or equivalent experience (10+ years’ experience)
- Experience designing electromechanical equipment for industrial or semiconductor fabrication
- SolidWorks (2022), GD&T, ANSI Y 14.5, Mil Spec, strong command of good drawing standards
- Design experience with large assemblies consisting of heat exchangers, manifolds, water cooling (DI water), water pumps, valves, piping, hoses
- Experience in design of 19” rack mounted electronic equipment, control panels, cable trays, power supplies
- Familiarity with high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum equipment and systems, pumps, valves, seals
- Familiarity with facilities layouts (power, piping, exhaust, HVAC drawings…etc.)
- Must be US Citizen
Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of a senior engineer, support the development of a specialized linear accelerator and peripheral support equipment
- Produce detailed design of packaging, equipment placement, and facilities layout for equipment installation (such as power, piping, floor mounting layouts)
- Develop and maintain design documentation, models, drawings, schematics, manufacture’s specifications and certifications
- Support design changes, update assembly drawings, part drawings
