Job Description
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a CAD Design Engineer role
- 1+ year working experience within a component manufacturing environment (Industrial/Aerospace/Medical)
- 3D CAD (Inventor preferred) or equivalent coursework, GD&T, MS Office and ERP
- Proficient with machining techniques (i.e., turning, drilling, milling, shaping, etc.)
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, lab and hand tools etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Create CAD designs from scratch
- Create fixtures for 3D print and fabrication
- Attend weekly staff meetings and Engineering meetings to discuss the ECR system that is being developed
- Manage customer projects independently and create a sample design according to customer’s request
- Participate in development projects to improve design or performance capabilities.
- Learn the customer application side of the business
- Visit suppliers to understand the manufacturing processes
