Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibility:
- Associate’s Degree of Science in CAD/ Drafting or Equivalent experience
- 5 years with Aerospace standards to design and develop Solidworks 3D models/drawings.
- Preferred experience with Refrigerators, Wine Chillers, Water Heaters, Beverage Makers, and Potable Water System for Aerospace and Aviation Industries
- Knowledge of aviation design standards such as using GD&T, ASME Y14, FAA and RTCA DO160 guidelines.
- 3D wire harness/drawings (a plus but not required)
- Experienced with Engineering Change Order (ECO)/Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process and releasing designs into EPDM.
Responsibility:
- Draft and correct drawing details on projects to ensure correct format is utilized to match drawings with billing of materials to be approved by FAA.
- Provide detailed designs for products (components, assemblies, and subsystems), and document.
- Work with cross functional teams
- Created/maintained drawing lists, procedure documents, tooling lists and development schedules.
- Implementing design changes, generating drawings, documenting, and releasing them in PDM system.
