Job Description
Qualifications
- Associates degree and/or a 3+ years work experience as an Engineering Drafter
- SolidWorks experience required
- Experience in 2D drawing for manufacturing methods including metal weldments, castings, forgings, injection molded plastics, and CNC machining
- Experience in drafting with GD&T principles and ANSI 14.5 drafting standards required
- Creating and Maintaining Bills of Materials
- Evaluating tolerance stacks and ensuring proper dimensioning methodology
- Creating new 2D drawing packages for new product development, sustaining development, and sourcing validation projects
- Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing to ensure final drawing products are accurate
- Develop documentation to support new product development
- Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings
