Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Design experience using Creo/Pro-E
- 5-7 years of mechanical design experience
- Design experience with cabinets, server racks, and enclosures
- Basic knowledge of fabrication methods
- Ability to develop BOMs for products (fasteners, fastener torques)
- Knowledge of heat exchangers and wire harnesses is an advantage; ability to design different configurations of power distribution units, cables
- Responsible for design upgrades and new designs for rack mounts, cabinet, and enclosures
- Develop list of materials, assist with material selection, and design specifications (fastener torques, selection of fasteners, acceptable tolerances, etc.)
- Perform testing and validation of designs
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and design reviews, to support project milestones and compliance standards.
