Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • SolidWorks expert
  • Biotech instrumentation experience (PCR and sequencing equipment a big plus)
  • Experience with Motion control, Microfluidics, and Fluid controls systems
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T standards
  • Understanding of Design Control, document control systems  for a cGMP environment
Responsibilities:
  • Design complex electro-mechanical instrumentation equipment
  • Design feasibility and testing methods to confirm system and product capabilities
  • Conduct flow simulations
  • Establishes equipment documentation, including parts lists, mechanical drawings, and assembly drawings
  • Generate ENC and redlines
  • Collaborate with engineering team as well as vendors to explore new technology for product applications
  • Create drawings and models for subassembly and systems prototypes
