Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- Open to entry level candidates with strong SolidWorks/CAD experience or 2 to 5 years in OEM product development and NPD environments
- Proficient with SolidWorks and PDM systems
- Experience creating BOMs, product configurations, assemblies, and production ready designs
- Familiar with sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
- Exposure to lean manufacturing and Kanban systems
- Hands on machine shop experience is a plus
Responsibilities:

Drive design optimization and product configuration from concept through production
- Create and maintain SolidWorks models, assemblies, and BOMs
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross functional teams
- Troubleshoot design issues related to sheet metal and manufacturability
- Manage projects, timelines, and customer communication
- Support product testing, validation, and production readiness
