Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a closely related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in thermal engineering or a thermal-focused FAE role.
- Specific experience in liquid cooling for servers or high-performance computing (HPC) is a major plus.
- A solid grasp of thermal fundamentals, including heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
- Strong command of thermal simulation software (Icepak, FloTHERM, or FlowEFD). Proficiency in CAD software (Creo and AutoCAD).
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with customers, advising in design and DFM/DFA
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to travel to customer sites as needed to provide on-site support and foster technical relationships.
- Must be fluent in Mandarin
Responsibilities:
- Act as the critical link between Sales, R&D, and Manufacturing teams to ensure customer needs are accurately translated into internal solutions.
- Lead the technical integration of advanced liquid and air-cooling solutions into customer system architectures
- Utilize industry-standard tools (FlowEFD, FloTHERM, or Icepak) to perform detailed thermal simulations and validate performance.
- Act as the critical link between Sales, R&D, and Manufacturing teams to ensure customer needs are accurately translated into internal solutions.
- Support the full product lifecycle, including EVT, DVT, and PVT phases. You will perform on-site debugging and failure analysis to identify root causes.
- Review customer system architectures and provide expert assessments on thermal feasibility and optimization
- Attend customer meetings and travel to facilities for hands-on technical discussions and hardware troubleshooting
