Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Creo
  • 5-7 years hands-on design experience
  • Industry: Automotive / transportation preferred
  • Experience designing low volume CNC machined and metal stamped parts
  • Experience with injection molding and sheet metal design
  • FEA Experience: structural, dynamic, thermal preferred
  • Experience with thermal management and environmental design and test of electronic assemblies preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Create 3D designs to support Hardware prototypes and products
  • Provide mechanical engineering support for multiple new product development projects with short development cycles
  • Participate with New Product Introduction (NPI) to assure product designs are optimized for manufacturing.
  • Work independently or within cross-functional development teams to design, develop, and test products that meet system specifications.
