Job Description
Qualifications:
- BSME or BSMET required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience mechanical design experience in weldments, drive systems, structures, hoisting systems, with a focus on gearing.
- Proficiency in Solidworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with AISC, CMAA, and ASME B30 codes is required.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to collaborate with challenging individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Design and ensure compliance with specifications for major mechanical and structural components.
- Rapidly create and distribute the Skeleton Structure in Teamcenter after Order Acknowledgment.
- Review project specifications and clarify requirements with the Project Manager.
- Generate Crane General Arrangement Drawing, conduct Steel Structure Calculations, and manage project schedules.
- Handle Third Party Electro-Mechanical Component Requirements, coordinating with vendors.
- Approve drawings and crane design EBOMs in TeamCenter.
- Lead Electrical Coordination Meetings and manage change effectively.
- Track design engineering Quality issues and offer feedback for improvement.
- Confirm submission of final documents to the Project Manager and stay updated on relevant Standards and Norms.
