Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience
  • Industry experience – Industrial manufacturing equipment, process equipment, solar
  • SolidWorks
  • Familiar with thermophotovoltaic (TPV) panels
  • Experience designing electro-mechanical packaging with heat shielding, especially if it’s for TPV panels
  • Experience with designing equipment for high temperature environments (>400 C preferred)
  • Familiar with active cooling of power electronics
  • Experience with rapid prototyping
  • Familiar with carbon-based materials like graphite and carbon composites is a plus
Responsibilities:
  • Lead design and prototype development of electro-mechanical packaging for TPV panels
  • Understand and manage design constraints, alongside material, thermal, and electrical engineering teams
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and supply chain to oversee prototyping development
