Job Description
Qualifications:
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- Experience in operating heavy machinery, such as Bridgeport mill, Angle grinder, Miter saw, Bandsaw, and Laser cutter
- Experience drilling and tapping holes
- Experience with sheet metal enclosures and 8020 aluminum extrusions
- Hands-on experience building and assembling equipment and prototypes
- Able to read Solidworks CAD drawings and/or blueprints is a plus
- Experience with operating CNC machines
- Demonstrate efficient and safe fabrication practices
- Work from CAD designs, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions
- Support quality control of design and prototypes
- Support engineering team with testing, fabrication, and assembly of systems
- Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
