Job Description
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of industry experience with capital equipment, ideally Semiconductor tools
- Extensive experience in assembling, testing and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems, sub-systems, components, vacuum systems, clean environment
- Experience working from mechanical engineering drawings, sketches, assembly diagrams, component layouts
- Must have experience building and integrating vacuum chambers (stand-along or part of a tool). Optics, cryogenics, precision alignment, calibration are also helpful.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills at the system level, and component level
- Previous experience with part fabrication. Manual fabrication applicable but hands-on experience with CNC machined parts is ideal.
Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing of specialized semiconductor devices by building, calibration, testing, integration of complex electro-mechanical capital equipment
- Fabricate and procure components for equipment builds
- Build vacuum chambers and troubleshoot any system issues down to the component level
- May need to perform mathematical calculations to ensure system performs according to specifications from R&D team
