Molded Associate Technician
Job Description
Qualifications:
- Experience operating various presses and/or machines required.
- Setup and troubleshoot molding machines
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and utilize technical information.
- Ability to successfully read and utilize inspection and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, protractors and ruler).
- Ability to read and understand shop orders and blueprints.
- Requires being able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Operate and monitor various molded brush presses.
- Load trays of molded brush products and feed them onto a conveyor belt system or loading them into industrial ovens.
- Perform basic quality checks on all parts produced from various presses to ensure compliance with established drawings and specifications.
- Make frequent adjustments and recalibrations to various pieces of equipment to ensure safe and quality operations.
- Operate overhead hoist equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) entering data into charts.
- Load trays into retort furnaces.
- Proactively obtain materials and supplies from Hardware or Plate Stock to maintain efficient production levels.
