NetSuite ERP Systems Administrator
Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- AA or BS in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or Engineering, 5-10 years of experience in a technical environment, ideally within a manufacturing or hardware or high-tech environment
- Proven track record of at least one full-cycle NetSuite implementation or major optimization project.
- Deep proficiency with SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, and Saved Searches.
- Familiarity with SuiteScript and SuiteTalk (Web Services) for integrations
- Strong understanding of core business processes: Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Advanced Inventory Management.
- Experience with multi-location inventory and manufacturing modules (WIP/ROUTINGS) is highly preferred
- Excellent communications (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site in Emeryville 5 days/week
Responsibilities:
- System Implementation & Customization
- Lead the effort to translate manual "startup" workflows into scalable, automated processes within NetSuite.
- Design and implement custom records, fields, forms, and workflows (SuiteFlow) to meet the unique needs of a multi-site hardware company.
- Manage and troubleshoot existing scripts (SuiteScript 2.0/2.1) and work with external partners for complex development projects.
- Collaborate with the CAD/PLM Administrator to ensure seamless data flow between Arena PLM and NetSuite (e.g., syncing Released BOMs to Production Items).
- Optimize NetSuite for our two-site footprint, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, inter-company transfers, and location-based reporting between Emeryville and Santa Clara.
- Create and maintain saved searches, complex reports, and executive dashboards to provide real-time visibility into COGS, inventory health, and project spend.
- Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data entry and system usage to ensure audit-readiness and financial accuracy.
- Act as the internal "help desk" for all NetSuite-related inquiries, providing training for new hires and refresher courses for existing staff.
- Manage the bi-annual NetSuite upgrades, including regression testing of customizations to ensure zero downtime for the business.
