Job Description
Qualifications :
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering
- 7+ years hardware design experience in Space industry (strongly preferred)
- 3+ years leading engineers through hardware projects
- Expertise in Analog & Digital Circuit Design, Schematics and PCB layout (Allegro or OrCAD preferred)
- FPGA design - Intel (Altera) or AMD (Xilinx) preferred
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and software engineering
- Government safety & regulatory standards - CE, FCC, UL, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1399
- Experience with test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers
- Familiar with Agile development methods and tools
- Lead small electrical team and mentor engineers through the entire design, development and validation cycle of hardware development projects
- Review design documents, schematics, and PCB layouts to ensure processes and standards are met
- Create electrical design concepts and system architecture for rugged embedded computer systems
- Work closely with management, sales and marketing to provide project status updates
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, systems, manufacturing and NPI teams
