Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- BSEE and 12 years of experience in product development.
- Altium PCB CAD, AutoCAD.
- Experience developing high current products, motors, motor controllers for industrial applications.
- Strong knowledge of circuit analysis, simulation and design of experiments.
- Experience in test development, test execution and documentation
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging of electronic circuits, components, and PCB’s.
- Comfortable in customer facing activities, presentations, technical design reviews, specification development, and problem solving.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure appropriate review of engineering designs during product development.
- Design and debug electronic circuits, components and PCB assemblies for product development and sustaining projects.
- Design, setup and run tests to ensure the designs meets specifications.
- Support test engineering and manufacturing to resolve yield issues and component shortages.
- Maintain records and documentation on all designs, tests and analysis.
- Apply current techniques and tools to improve cost, reliability, durability, and manufacturability.
- Work within the team to complete assigned objectives.
- Troubleshoot circuits from prototypes, development, and customer returns.
- Participate in the preparation of development specifications. Update specifications as needed.
- Assist other departments in the resolution of design related problems that arise during production.
- All other duties as assigned.
