Product Manager

Job Description
- BS in Business or related industry experience with consumer products in household appliances, home fixtures, furniture, home building materials, etc.
- 5-7 years of product development, sourcing & merchandising, supply chain, and project management
- Experience in the consumer product industry a plus.
- Overseas sourcing or manufacturing experience of consumer home products or appliances in Asia. (mechanical, electrical, and/or technology home appliances)
- Must be able to search for OEM/ODM suppliers for private label or licensed products.
- Knowledge of e-commerce, ERP, digital marketing, and social media to launch new products.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese languages
- Able to work independently, hands-on while managing multiple projects in a start-up environment.
- Willing to travel for 10 to 20% to domestic and overseas suppliers.
- Project management certification a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier network of various products, create business relationships, negotiate prices with newly established vendors as well as develop supply chain.
- Bring new concepts to market to support existing product line (oversees to US market)
- Take ownership of the product lifecycle and category roadmaps to ensure a successful execution of the business plan.
- Prepare budgets and provide cost analysis for new product development projects.
- Ability to work independently and hands-on to handle multiple projects at the same time, in a start-up environment.
- Work with cross functional teams (co-workers and suppliers).
