Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- High school diploma/GED (Associate's preferred)
- 3-5 years production and supervisory experience
- Proficiency in blueprint interpretation and BOM analysis
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of quality control processes and statistical process control (SPC)
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC machining concepts
- Understanding of material science and engineering tolerances
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety and lead production team
- Conduct daily tier meetings and monitor KPIs
- Coordinate production schedules and optimize workflow
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Manage shop floor operations and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize MES, ERP, and visual management systems
- Oversee inventory control and equipment maintenance
- Enforce quality standards and ISO procedures
- Train team on technical processes and GD&T principles
- Conduct performance reviews and manage team development
- Collaborate with engineering on process improvements and design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Perform hands-on work in department as needed
