Job Description
Qualifications
- BSEE or BSEET
- 5–10 years in electrical engineering, specifically in system startups and wiring.
- At least 2 years of independent PLC/HMI programming (Rockwell and Siemens preferred).
- Expertise in Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and a strong command of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage client relationships in high-pressure environments.
- Willingness to travel (20–40%) for extended field assignments (1–2 months), including domestic and international sites.
Responsibilities
- Supervise engineers and technicians to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet technical standards.
- Create and review electrical drawings (schematics, layouts, and conduit plans) and calculate specifications for high-voltage systems.
- Develop and refine PLC/HMI code to automate industrial processes.
- Lead Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) to ensure the client is satisfied with the final installation.
- Work with project managers and purchasing teams to source parts and recommend design improvements that save costs.
