Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- MBA preferred
- PMP Certification
- MS Project
- 5 -7 years Experience with some or all:
- high speed, rotating equipment, turbines 1MW to 25MW
- power generation, steam generation
- integration of complex systems, assemblies, gear boxes, motors & generators
- Structural piping
- Ability to provide weekly project updates
- Familiar with fabrication processes, welding, stainless steel, systems level integration materials such as stainless steel
- Experience managing entire lifecycle of project, costs, suppliers, customer expectations through delivery & installation
- Experience managing change orders, read BOM's and understand critical items
- Work with suppliers to obtain quotes and define terms
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects budgets, timelines, suppliers and work with customers
- Oversight of existing design
- Identify suppliers & negotiate terms and source new suppliers and fabricators
- Create and maintain BOM's Cost of Goods Sold
- Work with engineering and assembly to ensure on time delivery and meet milestones
