Job Description

Qualifications:
  • BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • Design experience with SolidWorks, Finite Element Analysis (structural, thermal), testing (LabVIEW etc) and GD&T 
  • 2+ years involvement with Space/Launch Vehicles (electrical propulsion preferred)
  • Familiar with planning and executing tests, such as development, acceptance, and qualification testing
  • Well rounded knowledge of engineering fundamentals, including materials, manufacturing processes, composites, fluid & heat transfer, and electrical components
Qualifications:
  • Responsible for the complete development of spacecraft propulsion systems, at subsystem or component level
  • Hands-on design and FEA (structural, thermal) of fluid and thermal components
  • Qualification of components that are integrated into electrical propulsion systems on spacecraft and other launch vehicles
  • Collaborate with internal machine shop and outside vendors/partners to ensure efficient manufacturing, assembly and system integration
