Job Description

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience that can walk in and run all equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
  • SolidWorks & Mastercam experience
  • Needs MIG welding experience (does not want TIG only)
  • They have two HAAS Machines (5 axis), a new lathe, plasma cutting table, welders, 2 benders & getting a water jet and laser cutting table shortly.  Candidate needs experience operating and programming all of those.
  • Able to work independently, no one will be overseeing them.
  • Will support a team of 20-30 engineers
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality control procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of multi-axis CNC machines.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate HAAS CNC mill and lathe.
  • Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to program and machine parts to specifications.
  • Will create new versions of trackers as there is constant change in their portfolio.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure smooth operation.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure high-quality production.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve product quality.
  • Document and track production progress, including machine settings, tool usage, and material consumption.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and machine parts
