Job Description

Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years Quality Engineering and Inspection experience (understanding of weapons is required)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma principles 
  • Experience with ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • Ability to work closely with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet ISO standards
  • CMM knowledge would be a plus
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee manufacturing and inspection processes so that product standards are always improving and becoming more efficient
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques and methodologies to develop the overall production process
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure components and raw materials are on time and meet ISO standards
  • Develop ways of improving product quality to eliminate potential flaws and errors that occur in assembly
