Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline (Plus)
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace Quality Management required
- Strong background in Manufacturing Operations
- Proven experience leading, managing, and preparing AS 9100/ISO 9001 internal and external audits
- Hands-on experience using various types of precision measuring equipment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Conduct thorough mechanical and visual inspections of fabricated and purchased components and hardware, adhering to dimensional, geometric, and true position tolerancing as per drawings.
- Adjust, calibrate, and upkeep measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain meticulous records within the quality system.
- Lead and manage AS 9100/ISO 9001 internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
- Strategically plan, guide, and oversee compliance efforts across various sites and suppliers.
- Conduct supplier quality assurance audits for designated suppliers.
- Collaborate with executive management and cross-functional teams to formulate a comprehensive corporate quality plan.
- Establish standards aligned with industry norms and customer expectations.
- Identify and implement quality control processes to consistently meet criteria; communicate findings to the manufacturing engineering team.
- Analyze Quality data trends to pinpoint potential issues, evaluate corrective measures, and gauge performance improvements.
- Develop and maintain a supplier quality index utilizing statistical control programs to uphold high-quality vendor standards.
- Devise and execute a quality production program to ensure adherence to quality standards for purchased materials and final products.
- Ensure products and services meet customer requirements and expectations to meet corporate quality objectives.
- Provide comprehensive training and leadership at all organizational levels to foster a quality-focused culture.
- Formulate a dedicated quality team to support customer source inspection activities.
