Job Description
Qualifications
- No degree required, an Associate's Degree is an advantage
- 2+ years of experience with electromechanical systems build for high-mix, low-volume equipment
- Ability to assembly components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
- Background in electrical systems is helpful, such as cabling, using digital volt meter
- Ability to test and troubleshoot from board to component to systems level - prototypes and final assemblies
- Must be familiar with hand tools including Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, o-scopes, power meter
- Experience working in Class 100 clean room
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Help build and test mechanical assemblies at a system level for new metrology system
- Complete system integration and testing for semiconductor tools
- Perform mechanical, optomechanical and electrical assembly, alignment and calibration
- Candidate will also be required to maintain and qualify existing tools, return to operational functionality if necessary
- Should have good hands on assembly, troubleshooting and communications skills
