Reliability/Test Technician
Job Description
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a test technician, reliability technician, or a similar role in a hardware development environment.
- Hands-on experience with environmental testing (temperature, humidity, vibration), functional testing, and electrical testing.
- LOTO experience and familiar with high voltage equipment and systems
- Strong familiarity with electrical circuits, electrical panels and components
- Proficiency in setting up and operating various test and measurement equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and analyze issues during testing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test specifications.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, JMP, Python for data analysis is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance testing (e.g., UL, FCC).
- Experience with automated testing systems.
