Job Description
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6G Certification preferred
- 1-3 years high-level welding experience
- Proficient in hard wire and flux core wire welding (vertical bottom-up and top-down)
- Strong mathematical and blueprint reading skills
Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and job specifications
- Fit, align, and weld components using 6G welding techniques
- Manipulate heavy components (hundreds of pounds) with lifting devices
- Use templates, protractors, and precision measurement tools
- Perform welding in robotic and manual welding cells
- Tack and finish weld components with high precision
- Adapt to complex fitting requirements
- Perform quality inspections and process improvements
- Maintain organized and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team and leadership
- Learn basic robotic welding functions
- Handle manual touch-ups for complex component structures
