Job Description
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment assembling electro-mechanical products; RF microwave components preferred.
- Proven experience in the build of prototypes and pilot products
- Ability to interpret and execute assembly requirements provided in written specifications and blueprints
- Knowledge of GD&T tolerancing and its factor on precision assemblies
- Expertise on operating conventional Mill/Lathe machines
- Proven ability using SolidWorks PDM and manipulating 3D models
- Collaborate with Engineering to construct prototype and pilot products, as well as to devise process solutions.
- Formulate and execute recommendations aimed at enhancing production methods, performance, and product quality.
- Aid Engineering and Test technicians in diagnosing assembly malfunctions or test failures.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototype assemblies and subassemblies in accordance with specifications and simulated conditions.
- Improvise and troubleshoot set-ups and issues as they arise.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of assembly requirements.
- Provide training to fellow assemblers on component, subassembly, and assembly construction and processing techniques.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
