Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • CAD Design: SolidWorks
  • 4-6 years experience
  • Arduino, Raspberry Pi programming is a plus
  • Mechatronics, robotics, motion control experience
  • Experience in automation, machine design – motors, control systems, linear motion control, actuators
  • Medical Device or Consumer industry experience is a plus
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills (presentations, customer meetings, design reviews)
Responsibilities:
  • Support multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of complex mechanical assemblies, layouts, models, drawings and BOM's for a variety of product development projects
  • Perform detailed engineering and design of a variety of products and systems
  • Support iterative design changes, manage large mechanical assemblies, check for interferences, fit and finish
