Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: including Civil, Industrial, Chemical, Process, Construction Management
- PE License preferred
- 5+ years experience in an industrial environment, including oil and gas, chemical, power plants
- Understanding of technical documentation: PFDs, P&IDs, SLDs, Cause and Effect, Change Management, RFIs, and as-built drawings
- Experience using construction estimating practices, software and tools (ACCE, ICARUS)
- Familiarity with 3D CAD (Solidworks, Navisworks), 2D drawings (AutoCAD)
- Experience in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Experience commissioning process plants or other industrial facilities preferred
- Technical writing skills, including for equipment specifications and technical reports is helpful
- Create and review construction work plans and submittal packages
- Review design Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural deliverables to confirm design requirements are met for successful field implementation
- Understand and collaborate with Project Manager on project costs, schedule, and risks
- Monitor design and quality compliance
