Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience)
- 6+ years of experience in Failure Analysis, Quality Engineering, or Reliability Engineering
- Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA methodologies
- Hands-on experience investigating mechanical, electrical, and fluid-system failures
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations and RMA analysis
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
- ISO 9001 quality management system familiarity
- Statistical analysis tools such as Minitab preferred
- Data center infrastructure or server hardware experience preferred
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency required
Responsibilities:
- Lead failure investigations and identify root causes through troubleshooting, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Develop failure analysis reports with clear findings and recommended corrective actions
- Own quality issues from detection through resolution, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement and verify corrective actions
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues and support production teams in resolving quality problems
- Analyze returned products and customer failures to determine root causes and support quality investigations
