Senior Software Engineer - Test and Quality

Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of industry experience as a software quality or test engineering, ideally experience will include communications hardware, IoT, or GPS technology
  • Experience developing test scripts using Python or similar scripting language. LINUX experience preferred.
  • Previous industry experience building app store releases (Gitlab, Xcode), mobile interfaces, cloud applications, etc.
  • Strong ability to debug embedded software issues
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery and agile test automation - ideally strong with Git, Github, or Jenkins
  • Ability to create test automation packages
Responsibilities:
  • Review software stack and identify test solutions that will improve quality, increase release rate, and offer high returns on investment
  • Identify strategies to increase test automation
  • Work with Agile team to improve test coverage and interface with software team on test automation efforts
  • Run and develop test scripts for Linux environment
